Phra Phrom Dilok, chief of Bangkok's Sangha administrative body and one of five senior Buddhist monks accused of involvement in a temple fund embezzlement scandal, is staying tight-lipped about the accusation. Phra Phrom Dilok: No comment for nowAsked by reporters about the claims Thursday, the same day the National Office of Buddhism (NOB) was expected to lodge a complaint against him and the other four monks, Phra Phrom Dilok simply said he would rather wait until he sees more details before commenting. Pol Col Panya later in the day said Pol Lt Col Pongporn had eventually sought an indefinite postponement of his visit. The CCD has forwarded the alleged embezzlement cases involving the five monks from the three Bangkok temples to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC). Earlier, the CCD forwarded 12 cases resulting from two previous rounds of probes into similar crimes at several temples in upcountry provinces to the NACC.
